BUILDING UPDATE::
Our vision to purchase and build out tides church in Lake Elsinore is moving along!  We had a meeting with the City of Lake Elsinore and they gave us some chores to do before we can move along with the process.  We are in the process now of submitting a text ammendment.  This will allow us to change the zoning verbage.  Right now it shows that a church can exist there but only on a temporary basis of two years then they have to leave.  Well there is no way we could agree to those terms.  So they suggested that we submit a text ammendment to allow us to exist there on a permanent basis.  The encouraging part of this is that they asked us to do it.  They believe that the zoning is antiquated and out of date.  In fact the last time it had been ammended was in 1989.  After that is approved we will need to apply for a conditional use permit which will also take some time.

This is the most time consuming part of the whole process because it requires patience and faith.  Two things that I am not always good at.  More good news is that God has continued to keep the buildings open and available for us when we are ready to move forward which I believe will be sooner then later.

On a separate note, I am so proud of all of you that faithfully give each month from your commitment to the “Ride Of Your Life” campaign.  We have raised upwards of 60,000 so far and that amount continues to go up every week.

It truly is amazing to be a part of such a revolutionary church in this area.  I look out each week and see new faces and new families.  Eight people prayed to receive Christ last week as we closed out our Supernatural series.

On the horizon we have plans to start a third service.  Last week we were virtually full in both services!  First was 80% full and second was overflowing!  God is truly moving and we are ready to move to a 3rd service to make room for all the new families that God wants to continue bringing.

Will you pray with me as we seek the face of God for the future of our church.  Where God wants us to be and what God wants us to be about as we “Live here, Play here and Worship here”.
