Living In The Present

WE PASSED OUR INSPECTION YESTERDAY!!!!!
October 12th will for sure be our first Sunday in our new building!  I can hardly believe it!  It hasn’t sunk in yet.  I sat in the building yesterday after the inspection that was easy as could be and just thought here we go!  So invite everyone you know to come and join us for a great and memorable sunday next week on the 12th with New Service Times at 9am and 11am.  This will help accommodate any of the parking crunch we might have.  Also watch for ne updates and new information on the site over the next week.  See You There!

Living In The Present (NEW BLOG ENTRY)

What a great ending this past Sunday to our 5 week series entitled Disciple.   Of course don’t miss the kick off to what should be another great series exploring the afterlife!   We will tackle everything from Death to Heaven and Hell and of course Life in the present!

Brand new cushy chairs arrive on Thursday and all of the indoor signage by Friday.  New things are arriving at various peoples doors all the time, mainly at overstock.com’s door!  That’s my nick name for Brian Gowing.  He has everything known to man in his house or garage.  No Seriously He Does!  By the way, Jeremy is OSO, which means Large Bear!  Paul is the Dark Knight and I am Pastor 7 (Which has connotations of perfection associated with it LOL) according to the CITY of Lake Elsinore.   Believe it or not we are managing to have fun along the way which is important and we are really looking forward to our moving date.  It has felt good and difficult at times to go about this process the right way but I know God will and is honoring it!  Keep checking back often as I will try and update more frequently.  What am I reading right now some have asked?  I am reading a book called He Loves Me!  by Wayne Jacobsen.  I highly recommend it I have been very encouraged.  Also be thinking of who you can invite on October 12th!  This is our first service, we are calling it a soft opening.  That will give us the time we need to kick the tires and blow a few breakers during the middle of worship before we have a GRAND OPENING WITH 15 TONS OF SNOW!  Yes we are bringing it back!  Love you all!  Let’s all be together at cottonwood this weekend for our last service in a temporary school site!

We are however very Grateful to the School district especially Preston Perez the Principal of Cottonwood for sticking his neck on the line to host us!  What a true leader and an ambassador for the Kingdom!  Thank You Mr. Perez!!!!

Leave comments and questions so I know people are reading.  If I know you are there I will write more!  So WRITE, WRITE,WRITE!!    Bryan

I am right now waiting for a truck with the delivery of the amps and other things! while overstock.com is away helping Pastor Paul (the Dark Knight) yeah, I love those names LOL

I can’t wait either to be in our new home either and I am praying that all goes well tomorrow with the inspection. God has plans for us and all we have to do is wait…”strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord”

Bryan, I wanted to thankyou and everyone else who has made my family and I feel so welcome @ Tides church. Since this past Sunday I have had some very intense feelings, almost overwhelming. First was @band practice on Monday night in the new building, what a great place. I was alone setting up my drum kit,and an intense feeling of joy came over me, to the point where I started to cry. I had to take a second or two to reflect on my life and current situation and thank God for bringing me back into his fold, and delivering me to a beautiful and passoinate congregation lead by an equally beautiful and intense pastor. I look forward to playing @ services and thank Paul and the rest of the band for giving me a shot as one of your drummers.. However, today was a true awakening for me. As you know I take my daughter to the park everyday, the park I met you (Bryan) at. There was another father there with his three young children, being the only people there we began to chat. Come to find out he was going through a divorce and an equally rough time loosing his bussiness recently,he laughed because here he was from Corona in a park in Murrieta venting to a total stranger about his life and situation. It was not long before we started to talk about God and what he was trying to tell us both. I explained to him how I had just returned to church for the first time in almost twenty years, and what had happened to me meeting you and our congregation. This was a very intense situation and I explained to him how we both need to look past what is going on right now for the greater growth mentally and spiritually and what is God trying to teach us by this lesson in life. I gave him my number and told him to call me anytime he needed to talk, vent whatever. Finally I told him about Tides and how it had effected mine and my families lives and invited him to join us in worship. Although I may never see this man again he knows that there is a greater good in all of us and a great God looking after us and he is a part of this.
I know this is long but my point is that a month ago I would not have talked about God to anyone let alone asked them to join us in worship. the intestity was even greater when I got home and explained what had happened to my wife with the most intese feeling insde me and teirs streaming down my face I relize that Tides Church has effected me more than i could ever had imagined.

Thankyou All. Rich Hobbs

Tides new home is going to be more like the big family kitchen. You know everyone gathers in the kitchen at family events. That will be the feeling we will all have at our new home. We are going to be cooking now!!!! Praise to the Lord our God. How Awesome is our God…. more awesome than than we can ever know… xo Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard for the Kingdom of God….xo

Hi Pastor Bryan, It seems like God is calling out to all his children to “wake UP”, to be there for one another and for those that are not saved; to help them find their way to Christ. There is so much pain in this world and it seems the word that is on everyone’s mind is “worry” about everything! This is where our faith steps in. God has done before, he has a plan, we need to pray and God will give each of us what we need. He holds true to every promise…
The rightous cry out,and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.Psalm 34:17 Thank You Pastor Bryan for bringing your flock to their new home and for making my son Sean and I feel so welcomed, wanted and loved!!
God Bless you all,
Ronda Evans
